2-Hr Anatomy Workshop for Pilates - Coming Soon

This 2 hours anatomy workshop will help you learn the musculoskeletal system and its application in some of the Pilates postures. Cely will teach you how to assess postural alignment, as well as breathing and strategies for cuing the exercises.
Objectives:

  2. Learn skeleton system and muscle system.
  3. Understanding vertebral column/Understanding the anatomy of the spine.
  4. Define joint action
  5. Define shoulder joint
  6. Learn about muscle/muscle action.
  7. Learn about types of muscular contraction.
  8. Learn about body plane and key exercise.
  9. Learn about fascia (how it works in stretching and injury prevention).
  10. Learn about types of body movement.
  11. Learn about rotator cuff muscles (a group of muscles and tendons that hold the shoulder joint in place)
  12. Understand how the main muscle of respiration works (The Diaphragm)..
  13. How to elevate your Pilates practice
